"I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. Psalm 108:3"
There are people who feel timid about letting people know that they are Christians. Some even feel ashamed to hold their Bible in public or when they are with their friends.

Christians like these are doing more harm to themselves than good. The psalmist, on the other hand, was so proud of the God he was serving that he was excited to sing and praise God in the midst of the people and among the nations.
Wherever he went, he publicly declared his praise for God. This is the kind of character God wants us to portray in our homes, communities, schools, workplaces, nations, etc. Jesus Christ said to let your light shine before men so that they can see your good works and give glory to the Father (Matthew 5:16).
Let's stop being timid and instead stand for Christ, praising Him and singing new songs to Him irrespective of where we find ourselves so that He will also go all out to help us in times of need. Hallelujah!
