Knowledge form God

WMP_334-Custom

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7"

This scripture makes us understand that the fear of God is knowledge. Before any person would fear God or give God reverence, he might have had a prior knowledge of Him. This knowledge a person receives from God leads to the wisdom of God. Fools on the other hand, have no regard for wisdom and instruction; because of this inherent character they will continue to live in folly. Dear reader, do you fear God and how do you mean?

SAVED BY GRACE

WMP_319-Custom

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8"

The grace of God is the favor and ability of God that is given to the children of God to live a fulfilling Christian life, but you only receive grace through an act of faith by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.

This does not demand any work on the part of the recipient because all the work for grace was already done by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

When you receive grace, use it to better your family, job, education, aspirations, marriage, singleness, etc. Since it is a gift received by an act of faith, use it through faith by confessing it over your life.

Then go ahead and do the work committed to you, and you will certainly succeed. Hallelujah!

ONLY BELIEVE

image3

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  Mark 11:24"

Jesus Christ is truly the way, the truth, and the life. When it comes to the issue of prayer, it is vital to follow Jesus Christ on this subject matter since He has given us the key to having good fellowship with the Father.

Prayer is communion with the Father, so if you pray aright, you will always enjoy each and every prayer session you have with the Father. Any time you stand to pray, believe that you have received whatever you are going to ask for.

This is an act of faith. Receive the answer right there in your prayer, and then celebrate the answer. After praying, don't complain about what you have asked for.

Continually thank God for what you asked. Let your conversation over the matter be positive and maintain a good disposition over
it, and God will cause it to materialize. Praise the Lord!

GOOD COUNSEL COMES FROM THE LORD

image1

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. Proverbs 8:14"

It is good to be born again. When you are born again, you become a child of God, and as a child of God, you have access to the inheritance of God.

One of the greatest gifts of God is divine wisdom, which is the right application of knowledge to give you good results.

The opening scripture throws light on what divine wisdom will produce in you. It produces good counsel, sound wisdom, understanding, and strength.

Dear beloved, ask God for wisdom, and He will give it to you. When you receive divine wisdom, nourish it with the Holy Scriptures since the Word of God is the wisdom of God.

In the Holy Scriptures, you will find good counsel to run your life, sound wisdom to make good decisions, understanding to execute your plan, and strength to live in divine health. Praise the Lord!

WE BELONG TO A WONDERFUL FAMILY

WMP_282-Custom

"Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. John 20:17"

When Jesus Christ died, His disciples were disappointed because they thought all their hope was lost. After three days, during the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb to attend to Jesus Christ's body, but He was not there; He had risen.

Jesus Christ found her and told her He was ascending to His God and to her God, what a wonderful family we have! God is part of our family; in fact, He is the head of the family, and Jesus Christ is our brother. This is the intimate relationship we have with God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

If we learn to discern, appreciate, and nurture this relationship, we will enjoy God and our Lord Jesus Christ, and it will be easy to obey them and serve them because we are one family. Dear beloved, let this mind be in you so that you can enjoy God, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit on Earth. Hallelujah!

TURN YOUR ANXIETY TO PRAYER

WMP_288-Custom

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6"

As a child of God, God expects you to live in wisdom to make all of your time profitable to you and to His Kingdom. The energy and time you spend worrying over things you don't have control over could be made useful instead.

Simply turn all your worries and complaints into prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving. Being anxious over the needs in your life will simply make your situation worse because it will steal the joy of the Lord from your life.

Learn to thank God in every situation because He is aware of what you are going through. Commit your worries to Him in prayer and humble pleading.

After you have done that, live in an atmosphere of celebrating your answers before they even materialize. The continual joy of the Lord in your life will bring people around you who can supply the answers to your needs.

 Praise the Lord!

BE STEADFAST UNMOVABLE

WMP_306-Custom

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58"

The New International Version translates the opening scripture as "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." When you are born again, you have a newfound desire to do God's work.

Take advantage of this desire, and work for Him; you can work in the church or in your community for God. In the church, you can work as a counselor, usher, choir member, teacher, etc.

In your community, you can work as a helper, politician, evangelist, etc. There are times when, for some reason or other, you may feel like giving up on the work that God has assigned to you.

Such a feeling is not from God but from the evil one to discourage you to stop the good work you are doing for the Lord. Stand firm in the Word of God, and let nothing move you, because the moment you stop doing the work of God, you lose the reward that God has prepared for you.

Therefore, abound the more in His work, and daily encourage yourself with the Word of God. One day your reward will come; your work for the Lord will never be in vain.
 Praise the Lord!

GOD WILL DELIVER YOU

WMP_335-Custom

"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Psalm 91:3"

The moment you became born again, you became a child of God. You became God's responsibility, and as such, He has eyes on you every moment of the day. He is doing this to protect you from the snare of the fowler, which is the traps that the enemy and his cohort of darkness plan against you day and night. God is keeping an eye on you to deliver you from them all.

Noisome pestilence is an unpleasant, contagious, and infectious disease that causes many people to die. You will not be infected by it, because you are a child of God, and God has His eyes on you.

This should cause you to celebrate the Lord and to draw even closer to Him as you ask Him what He wants you to do for Him.

If He is doing all these great things for you, you should also do what He asks you to do so that your bond with Him will become stronger and stronger every day. Hallelujah!

GOD IS MY REFUGE

WMP_301-Custom

"I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:2"

There are people who complain about every little thing, and by doing so, they tend to find themselves saying inappropriate things about God.

God is still working in the lives of His people on this earth; the psalmist noticed this and made a proclamation about God as he praised Him. God was his refuge and fortress, and he put his whole trust in Him.

Dear beloved, learn to say beautiful things about God. Notice the little things He does for you, and praise Him for it. When you praise and worship Him for the little things, He is motivated to draw closer to you to do the greater things that you have not even asked Him to do for you.

Learn to create new songs to bless His name, and make Him your personal God so that you can also declare that "the Lord is my refuge and fortress."
 Hallelujah!

GLORY IN TRIBULATION

WMP_327-Custom

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; Romans 5:3"

One of the best moments of every child of God is the day he or she became born again.

It is a day when your heart is glad and rejoices because you are saved by Jesus Christ for eternal life so that you can have fellowship with the Father and be called a child of God.

During the course of your relationship with God, you will go through tribulations.

There are many of them, and they are unique to every child of God; it is a training that God gives His children so that they can be empowered to endure the difficult times in life.

Find a way to rejoice in the midst of the tribulations because of what they will produce in you.

They will produce patience, experience, and hope in you.

Patience, experience, and hope will then defeat all forms of shame in your life, and you will be a better person for God to use to bless the rest of the world.
 Praise the Lord!

JESUS IS THE DOOR.

WMP_272-Custom

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9"

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. God expressed Himself in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because He is a Spirit and could not relate to human beings in His divine nature without becoming like one of us. If you are born again, you become the sheep of God; Jesus Christ is the good shepherd of God's sheep.

He is also the door to the sheepfold, which means that we are safe and secure from anything that desires to harm us. It also means that every good thing we desire can be found in Him.

Even more, Jesus Christ is the door to eternal life because He sacrificed His life for the whole world. Therefore, if you want eternal life, which is the life of the Father, you can only get it when you accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life.

Do all you can to not miss the door, and when you have found it, help others also find it so that we can all celebrate eternal life with Jesus Christ in heaven.
Hallelujah

LEARN FROM THE LORD

WMP_343-Custom

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Psalm 103:8"

The Lord is a Father over all His creation because He is the Creator of all things. He is a personal being; in other words, although He is a Spirit, He is a person who can relate with us on a personal level. As a person, He has personal virtues: merciful, gracious, and slow to anger.

He shows plenty of mercy to His children and gives us grace to function for Him; He is slow to get angry at us when we do the wrong things or go the wrong way.

These are the virtues He wants to also see in His children. As a Christian, God wants you to exhibit His virtues of mercy, grace, and being slow to anger.

He wants you to be merciful toward people, slow to react in anger to what people do against you, and to give people grace to be able to work with you. When we express the virtues of God toward one another, our families, churches, communities, and nation will be better.
Hallelujah!

MAKE PEACE BETWEEN GOD AND THE UNGODLY

WMP_296-Custom

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9"

There are so many blessings in the Bible for the children of God to partake of. The blessings, however, come with responsibilities, therefore whatever blessing you desire, make sure you also look at the responsibilities that go with it so that you can be prepared to fulfill them.

The peace between God and man was breached when man sinned against God in the Garden of Eden in the persons of Adam and Eve.

Thanks be to God for sending Jesus Christ to die for the sins of man in order to reconcile us back to God. Jesus Christ has committed the ministry of reconciliation to the church (2 Corinthians 5:19). When you are born again, you become a child of God, but when you do your part by extending the gospel to the ungodly, you are making peace between the ungodly and God; this makes you a true child of God.

Dear beloved, are you a child of God by mere title only, or are you a child of God because you do the will of God? Let us endeavor to make peace and be blessed. Hallelujah!

DO YOU STILL WORRY?

WMP_295-Custom

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6"

The children of God are the light of the world; hence the world looks up to them to know the ways of God.

As a child of God, you are exhorted by the Word of God not to worry about anything. Why is it so important that you don't worry? The opening scripture gives you the reasons not to worry: You have tools called prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving. Supplication is to ask humbly and earnestly.

Therefore, don't look down on your prayers; God is waiting for you to lay your entire burden on Him in humble prayer and thanksgiving. Show appreciation to Him for what He has already done for you, what He is doing, and what He is about to do for you.

Continue in thanksgiving, and your anxious mind will give way to a sound mind, which will prepare you to receive the answers to your prayers.

Praise the Lord!

MAKE A PERSONAL COMMITMENT

WMP_348-Custom

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. Psalm 101:2"

The psalmist made a personal commitment to the Lord. What was this personal commitment? He said he would be wise in his behavior and conduct himself in a perfect way.

He also went further to say that he would work on his heart and make sure that his heart was perfect. He was doing all these so that God would find him to be a useful vessel to fellowship with.

Dear beloved, make this month your month of personal commitment to the Lord. During this month and beyond, you are going to prepare your heart by ridding your heart and thoughts of all sins and wickedness. Think about the good of humanity and the welfare of your nation.

When your heart and thoughts are good, your conduct will be good because what you think about is what you are compelled to do. God hates sin, and you must also hate it so that God can fellowship with you and make you a vessel of honor to bless the rest of the world.

GOD IS NOT TIRED OF YOU

WMP_279-Custom

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9"

The opening scripture gives us a picture of God asking Joshua to pull himself together again so that he can work on what God has commanded him to do.

Joshua was so overwhelmed with Moses' death that he had to be encouraged on more than one occasion to take up the leadership mantle and lead the children of God to the promised land. Dear beloved, God is not tired of you neither has He given up on you.

Just as He was with Joshua, He will be with you. Joshua finally took the encouragement of God, pulled himself together, and acted on God's Word. The good news is that he was able to lead the children of God to the promised land.

You can also do the same as a leader or potential leader of God's people, be it in the church or as a part of society. Have an open mind and attentive spirit to act on God's Word, and you will celebrate your victories.

Hallelujah!

GOD IS EVER READY TO LISTEN TO YOU

WMP_248-Custom

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91:15"

One of the good things that the children of God enjoy when they become born again is that God is ready at all times to listen to them.

This is not so if you are an unbeliever in the world, because the unbeliever is not a child of God and does not have any kind of relationship with the Father.

When the child of God prays and fellowships with the Father, God answers him; if he is going through any trial or trouble, God gives him the grace to overcome that situation.

In this way, God is available at all times to attend to His children; He becomes our deliverer, honors us, gives us long life, and shows us His salvation. What a wonderful God we serve! This should entice those who are not born again to become born again.

Of course, they need to be informed first, and that is why the children of God should not keep the gospel to themselves but instead let the unbelievers know what they are missing so that they, too, can become children of God.
Praise the Lord!

THE LORD MY REFUGE

WMP_286-Custom

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Psalm 91:9"

The New International Version translates the opening scripture as "If you say, 'The Lord is my refuge,' and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent." As a child of God, you need to be conscious of what you have and where you are. You bear the name of Jesus Christ to use to bring blessings and victories to yourself.

You are in Christ Jesus, and Jesus Christ is in the Father; therefore, before the enemy can reach you, he must first go through the Father and secondly through our Lord Jesus Christ. This makes you secure in God, and He becomes a refuge and your dwelling place.

Is this not wonderful? This makes you sickness free because God and Jesus Christ will protect you from diseases and all manner of evil; even if you are attacked by any illness, they will heal you and keep you in good health.

Hallelujah!

BE HAPPY TO SUFFER FOR CHRIST

WMP_341-Custom

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18"

Christianity is the best way of life on this earth. It is not a religion as some believe it to be, but it is the culture and life of God in the body of the born-again child of God; it is simply God's eternal life working through the bodies of His children. Once you become a child, it is important to understand a few things.

For one, you are the righteousness of God, and God is going to count on you to live His righteousness and holiness on this earth.

He is also going to use you to bless the lives of others. In the midst of these, you should also understand that you will suffer for the name of Christ Jesus, which you bear.

All those who hate Jesus Christ will hate you because you are now a child of God and are not of this world. You become a target for the enemy and his cohorts of darkness, and he will use people against you.

Therefore, you must put on the whole armor of God and be fervent in prayer so that you can endure the suffering that you will go through.

You will go through suffering for a season, but then God will deliver you and make you His shining star.
Hallelujah!

SALVATION IS A PROCESS

MA-TEE

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10"

Salvation is defined as the act of saving someone from sin or evil or the state of being saved from sin or evil. It is also defined as something that saves someone or something from danger or a difficult situation.

The person who saved us from our sins is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Even though Jesus Christ died for all mankind, it is not everyone who has accepted Him for this work He has done.

Hence salvation can only be effectual personally by first of all believing in your heart that Jesus Christ truly died for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead. Secondly, you must confess Him with your mouth as Lord over your life.

If you take these two very important steps of faith, then you will be saved. It does not end here however; you must continually work out your salvation by being a follower and imitator of God (Ephesians 5:1).

As you follow God in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, He will bless you with good health, prosperity, wealth, etc., which are all part of salvation.
 Praise the Lord!
