BELIEVE IN GOD

WMP_319-Custom

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1"

The disciples of Jesus Christ knew of the existence of God before they met Jesus Christ. Apparently, they were expecting the Savior to come even though some doubted the manner in which He came. Jesus Christ knowing, the background of His disciples, had to encourage them to believe in Him as much as they believed in God.

As a Christian leader, you need to make your disciples/followers believe in you as much as they believe in God because Our Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ use people, especially His children, to accomplish His purposes/will on earth. If your disciples do not believe in you or trust you, you are likely to lose them to another leader who may not even be called of God to lead His children.

The heart begins to be troubled when it has no faith/belief in God's leaders. That is why, as a God-chosen leader, you need to follow Christ Jesus as the children of God follow you: in righteousness, truth, loyalty, kindness, working of miracles, meekness, etc. so that your followers can have confidence in you.

Dearly beloved, are you a leader? Do your followers/disciples believe in you?

GOD IS LOOKING FOR YOU

WMP_347-Custom

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. Chronicles 16:9"

God is always looking for a man to empower and bless. Are you that man/woman He is looking for? It is easy to say, Yes, I am the one.

The opening scripture gives you a clue as to whether your answer is correct or wrong. It says God is moving from one person to the next searching for a heart that is loyal/perfect. If you are faithful/loyal in all your endeavors, then you are the one God is looking for and He will find you, empower you, bless you, and show you His secrets.

Born again Christians are in the hands of the Holy Spirit but the Father lives in heaven and visits His children from time to time. When He visits you, will He find you still loyal in the things you are required to do??

The choice is always yours, to choose the path of blessings or the path of wars.

Dearly beloved, what is your choice?

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

WMP_261-Custom

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. John 4:4"

Apostle John by the revelation of God has given the saints a valuable insight into who they are on the inside. You are a spirit living in a body; therefore, when you become born again, the Holy Spirit recreates your spirit to conform to the nature of God so that He can live in your spirit.

You become a child of God and hence  John 10:34. You carry God inside you in the person of the Holy Spirit; therefore, you are greater on the inside than anything in the world. You are big on the inside, so give cooperation to the Holy Spirit to teach you how to beat the world and those in the world.

You cannot fail because the Holy Spirit on the inside of you is above all and cannot fail. Keep saying to yourself, "I am big on the inside for greater is He who lives in me than anything in the world"; as you say this, boldness will well up in you to overcome any obstacle that confronts you.

 Hallelujah!

WALK WORTHY OF THE LORD

WMP_273-Custom

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Colossians 1:10"

The word "meet" in the last verse of the opening scripture is rendered as "qualified" in the New King James Version of the Bible. In other words, God has qualified us to succeed and to take up positions that we do not qualify for by worldly standards. It is better to receive divine qualification than obtain earthly qualifications.

There are testimonies where people with degrees are jobless but others without degrees are working in meaningful jobs; people who are more beautiful are denied marriage but those who are not beautiful are married to good husbands.
Due to the working of the glorious power in us, we are expected to walk worthy of the Lord through the fruit we bear for Him.

He wants to see us succeed on the outside by our good works for Him; and succeed on the inside by bearing the fruit of patience, longsuffering, and joy.

Dearly beloved, always give thanks to the Father for qualifying you and making you honorable in life.

Praise the Lord!

GET WHAT YOU BELIEVE

WMP_279-Custom

‭Matthew 8:13

Then Jesus said to the centurion,
“Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
  Matthew 8:13"

Jesus Christ made a profound statement when the centurion came to Him for help. Apparently, he needed healing for his servant. Jesus Christ said, "as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee". In other words, if you come to God with a need, you must believe that He will do it and what you receive will be commensurate your faith. In other words, you will receive little things if your faith is little, and you will receive great things if your faith is great. Some people want great things but their belief or faith is too little to receive them. What they need to do is to grow their faith; they should practice the belief or faith in getting the little things, then move from that level to strong/great faith to receive great things from God. For example, it is better to believe God for a better job than to believe God for a spouse when you have no job.

Dearly beloved, do you have the faith for what you are praying for?

CHRISTIAN NETWORKING

WMP_327-Custom

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 10:24"

The world is becoming a complex place; there is a high unemployment rate in many countries, especially in Africa. Therefore, there are many people, even countries, coming together to form unions or groups to help one another. The opening scripture supports this idea and even encourages Christians to come together to do good works.

Imagine Christians creating companies to employ one another - the world would have been a better place, even to stand against the economic forces of the world. In other to achieve this, Christians should consider one another; in other words, give people the chance or the benefit of the doubt to prove themselves, whether they can be trusted or competent for good work. Thus, you should not feel guilty for reprimanding or firing a Christian who is dishonest, lazy, or criminal.

Dearly beloved, how do you feel about Christian Networking? Share your thoughts here!

THE ARMOUR OF GOD

WMP_259-Custom

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13"

Apostle Paul was truly a man of God who was endowed with divine revelation: through the gift of word of knowledge, he got to know that there is an evil day in the life of every child of God.

For example, he encountered several of them where he was stoned, flogged, insulted, etc., 2 Corinthians 11:23-27. His worst evil day came when he was beheaded. Our Lord Jesus Christ also faced His worst evil day when He was scourged and crucified.

All the men of God in the Old Testament and the New Testament encountered their evil day.

Every Christian will face an evil day; that is why the opening scripture has given us the key to withstand the evil day. We must put on the whole armor of God.

The whole armor is the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, boot of preparation of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, Ephesians 6:14-17. Putting on the whole armor of God is the only sure way to overcome our evil day and win victory over the devil and his cohorts of darkness.

If you leave out any of the armor, you will face defeat in that particular area of your life which could affect the other areas of your life.

Dearly beloved, be wise and you shall win all your battles. Hallelujah!

SPEAK THE WORD

WMP_288-Custom

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. Daniel 10:19"

Daniel encountered the angel of God when he was in the midst of fasting and prayer. He became weak whist fasting and praying, but when the angel of God appeared to him and spoke to him, Daniel regained his strength.

The only way to make the Word of God work is when it is spoken; therefore, the Christian life is not a quiet life but a Word Talking Life, Hebrews 13:6. For the Word of God to work for you, you must release it with power.

That is more reason to memorize the Holy Scriptures: speak them with authority in any ailing situation in our life, and we shall receive the solution we desire.

Dearly beloved, are you are quiet Christian or a Word Talking Christian?

SALVATION IS FOUND IN JESUS ALONE

WMP_303-Custom

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts (of the Apostles) 2:21"

Jesus Christ lived an excellent life on earth; He never failed in His earthly ministry. He died, was resurrected, and ascended into heaven. Before He ascended, he left a legacy of His name for us to use to get things done. His name has the same power He used whilst He walked this earth.

When the one who is not born again calls on His name with a repented heart, he/she is saved and given eternal life. When the one who is already born again calls on His name, the name works for him/her, Mark 16:17-18. The name of Christ cannot fail: it has power to save and do miracles.

However, it will not work for those who use it in vain or take His name for granted. It is God's name; hence it should be honored, revered, and worshipped. As a believer in Christ Jesus, know that the name of Jesus Christ is your inheritance and must be treasured and used in righteousness.

Hallelujah!

VICTORY THROUGH JESUS

WMP_295-Custom

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthian 15: 57

The apostle Paul is sure of the victory of the believer in Christ Jesus, therefore he said that if you are a Christian times may be difficult but be steadfast, unmovable, and abound always in the work of the Lord. God is faithful and will not allow your work go unrewarded. In other words, he said the keys to victory and rewards are steadfastness, persistence, and abounding in the work of Christ Jesus.

Dear reader, do you want to live in victory and be rewarded for your work? The keys are listed above; use them. Share your thoughts with other readers!

OBEDIENT IN ALL THINGS

WMP_335-Custom

For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 2 Corinthians 2:9"

Apostle Paul is one of the greatest leaders ever to have existed in the kingdom of God. He was concerned about the conduct of his converts in Corinth.
He wanted to know whether hitherto they had been walking in obedience; not just one time obedience or obedience in some things, but obedience in all things. Apostle Paul came to a point of maturity that he could discern that the Holy Scriptures were true; therefore, they must be obeyed entirely.

This should also be our attitude towards the Holy Bible; we should not choose what scripture to obey and what not to obey. Let us also be wise enough to judge the words/conducts we hear/see from our church leaders with the Holy Scriptures so that we are not deceived.

Dearly beloved, which leader/pastor are you following? Follow the one who can help you obey the true gospel in all things, amen.

GOD OF POSSIBILITY

WMP_290-Custom

"For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37"

As the year draws to a close, some of God's children have achieved their goals and objectives whilst others are yet to achieve their long awaited dreams.
It is not too late to still trust the Holy Spirit for the fulfillment of your goals/dreams. It takes just a day/moment for God to bring to pass that which He has destined for you. Praise the Lord! Our dear father Abraham was very wealthy but his very challenge was getting an heir to fulfill his dream and God's promise.

Finally, his day came when his wife conceived and brought forth Isaac, the promised heir. Moses faced challenges in Egypt when he decided to choose God's people over the Egyptians.

He went into exile but his day came to pass when he was appointed by God to lead His people out of Egypt into the promised land.

The day of David, Solomon, Sampson, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Peter, etc. came to pass. Therefore, keep pressing on with your faith and good works; your day is about to happen for nothing is impossible with God. Hallelujah!

CONCENTRATE ON WHAT YOU HAVE

WMP_322-Custom

He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. Proverbs 12:11"

The kingdom of God is filled with countless principles for living a healthy and prosperous life. The opening scripture wants every child of God to concentrate on whatever gift or talent the Holy One has given to him/her. In other words, our Father has endowed His children with several gifts/talents to prosper therewith.

What He wants us to do is to search within us and find them, develop them and prosper with them. Anyone who does not concentrate on his/her gift/talent but associates with people who have no aim in life lacks understanding, and in no time will be a loser in life.

Aside from the natural gifts/talents, our Lord Jesus Christ also gave spiritual gifts to every born again Christian to prosper withal, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. As a child of God, your number one goal is to find your natural gifts and spiritual gifts; after finding them, till or develop them and prosper with them.
When you are enjoying the prosperity from your gifts, do not forget to share with the weak in Christ. Hallelujah!

Dearly beloved, have you discovered your natural gifts/talents and spiritual gifts? Are you developing them?

DO YOU LOVE GOD?

WMP_302-Custom

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28"

The Apostle Paul uses the subject pronoun "we"; who was he referring to? He was referring to God, the Apostles, and all who are mature in Christ Jesus. Those who are mature in Christ come to this conclusion that all things have worked together for their good.

If you want to be part of the "we" as a child of God, what you must do is to love God, find the purpose for which He has called you, and execute it. Faith without works is dead, James 2:17. Hence any child of God who says he/she loves God but is not doing the works of God or fulfilling the purpose of God is missing out. Such people will not have all things working together for their good.

As you begin this new month, it is not too late to become part of the "we" so that the heavens, the earth, and the things therein will work together for your good. Be blessed in this month so that you can end the year on a good note, amen.

SEEK HIM FIRST

WMP_347-Custom

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33"

In the kingdom of God, first things are first and second things are done second, and so on. When the order is changed when God has not said so, things become jammed and do not yield the expected result.

The opening scripture is a good example, in which Jesus Christ admonished His disciples and admirers to seek the kingdom of God and God's righteousness, and that all other needs would be supplied by God. In other words, find God's utmost interest and receive our Lord Jesus Christ, and all other needs will be met. When you change the order, you will struggle without finding rest for your life.

Even as Christians, we should make Jesus Christ our utmost priority, before anything else, because we are crucified with Christ and the life we live, we live for Christ and not for our own selves, Galatians 2:20.

Dearly beloved, whom are you living for?

ASK IN HIS NAME

WMP_346-Custom

Until now have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24"

The disciples of Jesus Christ were exhorted by Jesus to use His name. Why did He tell them to use His name? Jesus Christ would soon leave the earth; therefore, He had to ensure that the disciples experienced the value of His name. His name has answers to questions; His name has power to give what they asked for; His name has power to make them joyful.

Their responsibility was to ask whatever they needed by faith using His name. Precious one, do you know the value of the name of Jesus Christ?

Do you use it? Use it as much as you can to receive answers from God to make your joy completed. Praise the LORD!

JEHOVAH IS MY STRENGTH

WMP_318-Custom

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2"

"Behold" means see with the eyes of your spirit, grasp and have fellowship with it. In other words, the Prophet Isaiah is telling us that if we can only see with the eyes of our spirit, grasp and have fellowship with the Lord, we will come to the conclusion that God is indeed our salvation; we will trust in Him and not be afraid.
Furthermore, we will know Him by the name of Jehovah, our strength and our song.

The opening scripture should encourage people to be intimate with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now and forever, Hallelujah!

WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?

WMP_203-Custom

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalms 18:2"

The opening scripture speaks so much about who God is to the Psalmist. The Psalmist was talking from a personal relationship or personal encounter with the LORD.

He said the LORD is his rock, fortress, deliverer, God, strength, trust, buckler, horn of salvation, and high tower. Nine personal encounters produced nine attributes of God. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ asked His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, "Matthew 16:15-16.

Dearly beloved, have you had any personal encounters with the LORD? Who is Jesus Christ to you?

FORGIVENESS AND GOOD HEALTH

WMP_250-Custom

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Psalms 103:3"

Forgiveness and good health are directly proportional; in other words, forgiveness leads to healing or forgiveness brings about healing. God cannot heal you until He has forgiven you.

This was demonstrated by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when He forgave the man sick of the palsy before ministering healing to the same, Matthew 9:2-7.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ also exhorted us that when we do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will our heavenly Father forgive us our trespasses, Matthew 6:15.

He said this in line with prayer, meaning that unforgiveness is a serious hindrance to prayer. A Christian who lives a lifestyle of forgiving others their sins and wrongs is a Christian whose prayers are always answered, and who lives in abundance of heavenly blessings.

Dearly beloved, are you living a lifestyle of forgiving others their sins and wrongs?

FAITH AS SUBSTANCE AND EVIDENCE

WMP_282-Custom

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1"

Faith is a vital ingredient in our walk with our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6. Faith is a substance: faith can be apprehended by our heart/soul.

Faith is evidence: the basis of faith is the Word of God/Holy Scriptures. Therefore, whatever you are believing should have the scriptures to support it; if it has no scripture to support it, then your faith is baseless and cannot be fulfilled by God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

This should encourage the children of God to be students and teachers of the Holy Scriptures so that their hope in whatever they are believing can be done without any shadow of doubt or struggle.

Dear believer in Christ, do you have scriptural evidence for what you are praying about/believing?

If you have, then wait patiently for the answer. If you do not, then start searching the Holy Scriptures for it or else you are just wasting your time and energy.
