There are people who quickly turn their backs on God when things do not go the way they expected. The Israelites were also fond of doing that when they were in the wilderness.
There are people who quickly turn their backs on God when things do not go the way they expected. The Israelites were also fond of doing that when they were in the wilderness.
They complained and murmured when they encountered any challenges or difficulties, and they were quick to praise their time in Egypt even though they were subjected to forced labor there. Job's wife represents the children of God who think the Christian race must always be rosy even though this is not the case.
Job was a man of understanding though; he rebuked his wife and educated her that sometimes God allows trials for His children to test and promote them. He did not sin against God, and in the end, he was given double of all that he had lost (Job 42:12).
Christians must know their God so that they can be strong and accomplish exploits even in difficult times (Daniel 11:32).
Dear beloved, what did you learn from this gospel?
